Women’s Ministry

The Women’s ministry was born out of a desire to encourage our women to be strong and steadfast workers for the Lord, standing firm in their faith and pressing on toward the goal of serving Christ, and one another.

    • Planning meeting is September 24, at 6:30 pm.
    •  Tabitha Tribe meets every Wednesday, from 3-5pm, in the library.  Any craft/hobby/art you do that you can bring with you, come join in the fellowship as we work on our crafts together.  Don’t have something you’re working on, come learn something from someone else.  We are also working on prayer shawls for the Grief Ministry.

    • Saturday, September 22: Pie Night with the Knights.  Come join in Saturday evening worship at 5pm and enjoy some pie and getting to know the Knight family 2-4pm.  If you bake, please bring a pie to share.

    • Sunday, September 23 – The Garden Boutique will be open!  Come see the marvelous treasures.  Want to work it, we’d love your help.  See Bette Coley.  The Garden Boutique is NOT open during services, but is open before, between and after.

    • Sunday, September 23 from 12:15-3pm: Game Day – all kinds of games with wonderful women.  If your fella has no place to go and is desperate to come, you can bring him along.  Please, no one under 12.

    • Friday, October 19 from 6:30-8:30pm: Card Making Class – only 15 spots available, but you will learn how to make 3 different types of cards and leave with the 3 you make.

    • Friday, November 30, 6-8pm: Around the World Dinner.  Start thinking about what type of food you would like to bring: appetizer, salad, main dish, dessert.  And, what country your food will be from: Germany, France, Thailand, Mexico, England, USA, China, etc.  Sign up sheets will be out the beginning of November.

The Women’s Ministry is involved in many areas in the church. Let us know what you enjoy doing so we can get you involved. If you see an area you think we would be beneficial serving in, let us know and show us how. We need you!

We support a young girl through the ARIZONA INDIAN CHRISTIAN MISSION in Show low, AZ. Throughout the year we supply school and personal need to her as well as a monthly donation for her care and education. Please let Robyn Gordon know if you would like to help in this area.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3:5-6   Not leaning on your own understanding is difficult.  Submitting to God is difficult.  Just remember, He is God.  He sees a lot further and a lot wider than you are capable of.  He loves you.  His way is ALWAYS the best way, even when it doesn’t seem like it possibly could be.  Trust God.
